Edwin Voss, for many years an electrical adviser to public exhibitions, died on Thursday at the age of sixty-seven.
Mr Voss first came to the district with a traveling show and later undertook electrical work at the zoological gardens. His employment there included the installation and maintenance of exhibition apparatus.
He had been in poor health for several months. A private funeral is being arranged. The gardens office said that outstanding work would be completed by other staff.
