photographs and small repairs

One tomato is technically a harvest

Independent fictional colour photograph of basil and tomato plants in pots on a kitchen windowsill.
The window before I noticed the saucer was leaking.

The window garden

The basil is doing very well, provided the definition of well includes leaning towards the neighbour’s house. The tomato produced one fruit and has behaved ever since as though that concluded its part of the agreement.

I used the pots I already had. One has a crack which I keep deciding is decorative. The sauce dishes catch enough water to make this practical until they don’t, at which point the photograph gains a towel.

Things I will remember next year

Turn the pots before the plants start leaning. Put the labels somewhere I can see them. Do not give away the strongest seedlings and then act surprised by what remains.

I think this is the first time I have grown something that could have gone into lunch, even if lunch would have had to be rather small. Back to the other photographs.
