The hallway was apparently fine
A small job
The hallway needed one coat. This was the confident version of the plan. It then needed the holes filled, the handles removed, and a discussion about whether the colour looked different because the bulb was different.
I now own enough tiny paint samples to make the whole wall look like a calendar. The favourite one is the colour we had before. Nobody is enjoying this discovery.
The door
The kitchen door has ribbed glass. I thought it would be useful to photograph the way the light comes through, but the pictures mostly show the laundry beyond it. This is not the decorating account I had imagined.
The plants are much less demanding about finishes.
